Too Many Toys
New digital toys – overkill in that dept. My birthday is in September. I am planning (yes, you do want to plan this) to buy nothing for a year from that date. I need to pay off bills, get ahead in planning for retirement, better organize my home (the week offline helped a LOT) and study on a more regular basis: nursing, scripture and dog rescue. Now that I am gadgetized to the max, I can better concentrate on meeting needs, not being distracted by wants.
This blog is again morphing into a reflective blog of my daily life with emphasis on prayer life.
BTW, my toys used to be cars!

Heaven Bound
A friend has entered Heaven. I am never sure, when one has severe brain damage, when the soul really leaves. It is more than my meager theology can explain. I do know bodies can live on. He leaves us to both grieve and celebrate his life and who he was. I don’t know his beliefs re: the afterlife or God. I know on Earth, he was a good person. I trust God to ensure the rest of his soul.
